The Mongolia Ger, popularly known by the Russian word ‘Yurt’, is the traditional dwelling of Central Asian nomadic people. It is the cultural symbol of Mongolia; the land of Genghis Khan and the Gobi Desert and one of the remotest places on earth. Today the Ger can be used for home, business, tourist camp, family camping, restaurant, classroom, workshop, etc.
The Mongolian Ger has 3 components: frame, tent and cover. The frame includes the roof ring, rafters, columns, wall sections and the door.
